Once a year during the National Cherry Blossom Festival Washington D.C. explodes with pink blossoms. This skein of yarn is dyed in bright through pale pinks to match these beautiful spring blooms. Dark and light greys are added to represent the colors of the monuments on the National Mall.
Dye Technique: Places (hand painted)
To create hand painted colorways we meticulously apply measured amounts of dye directly to the yarn in a specific sequence of colors. This creates very repeatable, very consistent colors. At Destination Yarn we call these colorways “Places” because like a place they are always the same!
