Because oh boy is it haunted! From the legend of Sleepy Hollow to creepy lighthouses the Hudson Valley has a long history of haunts. It even served as the inspiration for Disney's Haunted Mansion!

For this colorway I wanted it to feel haunted but classic. Not the typical Halloween colors but more Victorian. Classy Creepy. Fancy Ghosts. I pulled in shades from the Hudson River as well as rich purple and velvet. Hints of green peer through foggy grays.

Pairs with: I love this with Storm Clouds for a it was a Dark and Stormy Night moment! Or Kale, Eggplant, and Bordeaux all look marvelous. It also pairs with Sad Girl Autumn or any of the Cakepalooza 2025 colorways!

For all of our hand dyed yarns we recommend that they are either washed by hand or machine washed cold, gentle cycle. Use only gentle wool wash and always lay flat to dry.

Variations between dyelots and from skein to skein are expected. It is best practice when working with hand dyed yarn to alternate skeins as you work.
