Antelope Canyon

1 item left

Antelope Canyon, located in the heart of the American Southwest, is a geological marvel carved by the patient hands of time and the elements. This narrow sandstone slot canyon is a testament to the raw beauty of nature's artistry, with its twisting passageways, smooth curves, and ever-changing colors.  Antelope Canyon is famous for the ethereal beams of sunlight that penetrate its narrow passages. These beams create a surreal and magical play of light and shadows on the sandstone walls. A renowned destination for photographers who seek to capture the canyon's exquisite textures, hues, and the interplay of light within its depths.

To create this colorway, I drew inspiration from the profound beauty of the intricate, sandstone formations.  A swirling spectrum of reds, earthy tones, dusty pinks, and rich burgundies.

See below for base yarn options and details!

Pairs With:  Anything in the Southwest Collection!  I especially love this one with Cactus Bloom or Hoodoo.  Or pair with Kaibab National Forest or Big Bend National Park for more contrast.

For all of our hand dyed yarns we recommend that they are either washed by hand or machine washed cold, gentle cycle. Use only gentle wool wash and always lay flat to dry.

Variations between dyelots and from skein to skein are expected. It is best practice when working with hand dyed yarn to alternate skeins as you work.
