Inspired by impressionist paintings of Paris at night and strolls along the Seine this colorway is rich and speckled.  Layers of purple, navy, and black are applied over a stone base color.  Finally a gold and black speckle are added - the reflections of the lights through the city.

Paris is known as the "City of Lights" for several reasons. Historically, it was one of the first cities in the world to adopt street lighting. In the 17th century, under the orders of King Louis XIV, Paris began installing street lamps to improve safety and reduce crime, making it a literal city of lights. Additionally, during the Age of Enlightenment, Paris became a center for education, philosophy, and intellectual exchange, symbolically illuminating minds and ideas. Today, the city's well-lit landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, and the bridges along the Seine, continue to uphold its luminous reputation.
