Salt Marsh - Mohair

Inspired by the saltwater marshes and coastal lagoons of Maryland - wetlands that are flooded and drained by salt water brought in by the tides. These habitats are a critical ecosystem for fish, crabs, migratory birds and other organisms.  I was especially inspired by the marshes along the Chesapeake Bay and at Assateague Island.

Pairs With:  This colorway is beautiful with Chesapeake Bay!  Also was designed to pair perfectly with Blue Crab, Old Bay Seasoning, and Toes in the Sand.

Base Yarn:
Cloud - lace weight - 72% Kid Mohair 28% Silk - 459 yards per 50 gram skein.

Please note:  Pictures are of the same colorway dyed on a different base yarn.  Mohair takes the dye a bit differently - it fuzzes speckles out and colors are a tad more muted.
