This hand dyed colorway of green speckled yarn is inspired by the rolling prairies of the American Great Plains. I took the inspiration photograph at the Ingalls Homestead - where the author of Little House on the Prairie actually lived! The bright, yellow greens are perfectly in keeping with the Pantone Color of the Year of 2017.
Dye Technique: Adventure (speckle dyed)
Dye is applied directly to the skein allowing for pops of intense color. Colorways are repeatable but because of the way that the color is applied every skein is completely unique. At Destination Yarn we call these our “Adventure” colorways because creating one is an adventure!
