A Christmas Story is a classic holiday movie that inspired this speckled yarn. The house where the movie was filmed has been restored into a museum that you can visit in Cleveland (special thanks to them for allowing me to use their logo)! The yarn takes the bright red and green from the colors of the movie poster. Then speckles of black and gold are added - the colors of the Leg Lamp! This fun, speckled, holiday colorway is a great way to celebrate the season.
Dye Technique: Adventure (speckle dyed)
Dye is applied directly to the skein allowing for pops of intense color. Colorways are repeatable but because of the way that the color is applied every skein is completely unique. At Destination Yarn we call these our “Adventure” colorways because creating one is an adventure!
