Included Colorways:
Bodice Ripper Red, Friends to Lovers Peach, Envy Green

For Romance I wanted colorways that were rich and floral without being too girly or pink. A sophisticated and adult take on florals. To get to this I started with the lush Plum color - Bodice Ripper Red. It is achieved through layering true reds and vermilions and even a touch of orange over a cool red base. Next I created Envy by pouring blue greens over a more olive green. So it’s ALL the greens without leaning too yellow or too blue. I love how it plays against the plum! Finally for the colorwork of the patterns to work out I needed a much lighter color. I went with a blush, coral which pulls out those shades in the darker color. I named it Friends to Lovers Peach after my favorite Romance trope. This is the most variegated of the three with splashes of several pinks and plums. I absolutely adore how it contrasts and yet pulls the set together!
