Deep Space, Alien, Robotic Blue
For Sci-fi I started with the idea of voyaging to space - the most recent sci-fi books that I've read have all taken place in space so a space inspired color scheme was my jumping off point. I knew I wanted to play with brights and keep the color palette cool. First I created the Deep Space colorway - a navy base with layers of brights and blacks poured on top to add depth. From there I knew it needed an Alien companion! I didn't want to go *too* bright green so I started with a bright blue and added the alien green on as an accent. Fun fact - it's actually a bright yellow dye but when I pour it on top of the blue it creates that alien green! Finally I wanted a sky blue to complete the set - the possibilities of the great beyond. The gray blue felt very mechanical to me so it became Robotic Blue!
