Standing Stones

Ancient civilizations in Scotland erected stone monuments that still puzzle archeologists today.  Upright structures arranged in particular patterns, these may have been used for ceremonies or ancient rituals.  Now they are gorgeous fixture in the Scottish landscape.

Dye Technique:  Speckle Solid
This skein was dyed with my Speckle Solid technique. First the skein is dyed in a semi-solid colorway, then speckles of the same color are applied on top. This creates a ton of depth and interest within one tonal range. These colorways work up beautifully in either simple or intensely patterned stitches!

Pairs With:  Standing Stones is part of the Scotland Collection (pictured last) and was designed to pair wonderfully with any of those colorways.
