Sylvia Plath was an American poet and novelist known for her confessional style, exploring themes of mental illness, depression, and identity.

"I saw my life branching out before me like the green fig tree in the story. From the tip of every branch, like a fat purple fig, a wonderful future beckoned and winked."

This rich, layered colorway is heavily inspired by the fig tree in her analogy.  Deep plums, figs, and greens are intertwined with hinds of rich burgundy layered over golds and fiery reds.

"Out of the ash
I rise with my red hair
And I eat men like air."
